About
I grew up in a home where business and art coexisted - my father an entrepreneur in the snack food industry, my mother an accomplished impressionist painter. While I initially followed my father's business path, my mother's artistic influence never left. After completing my bachelor's degree at the University of Miami (1971) and master's at NYU (1973), I built a career in corporate finance, first becoming partner at Deloitte and then as CFO of Benihana.
Photography has been my companion since childhood, perhaps influenced by my mother's artistic spirit. After retiring in 2003, I had the opportunity to fully embrace creative work, much as she had done with her paintings. Today, I create digital art that transforms photographs into surreal narratives, addressing themes from faith to climate change, finding inspiration in both contemporary issues and artistic traditions.
Currently based in Atlanta, I continue my artistic journey through studies at Georgia State University.
